Sprouted breadcrumbs QUICK!!!

Sprouted Breadcrumbs In 30 Seconds?

Yes, breadcrumbs in 30 seconds.

And yes, sprouted grains (as, per WAPF’s solid guidelines, grains should be for proper digestion).

OhEmGee…WHY did I not think of this sooner!???

In Only 30 Seconds!!!

This post is going to be short and simple, ya know…right to the point so you can get started.

For just a little over 1C of sprouted breadcrumbs you will need…

  • 2 sprouted grain tortillas (like THIS)
  • 1 food processor (a high power blender might work, but I’ve yet to try it; I love my food processor)
  • …that’s all

Tear the tortillas into chunks and toss them into your food processor, set on high. 30 seconds later, you’ll have healthy, sprouted breadcrumbs.

Yup, that’s really all that there is to it.

*DRYING–> If you’d like (not necessary, but nice to do, if you have time)…you can lay your new breadcrumbs flat on a cookie sheet (with parchment paper or a silpat mat, like THIS) and place in oven preheated at the lowest temp on your oven (that’s 170 for me) for 5-10 minutes. This will dry them out/crisp them up for you. Again, this is not necessary, but nice if you are making a bunch and saving them.

*FREEZING–> Speaking of, these easy, healthy breadcrumbs freeze VERY well! I placed some in a mason jar and stuck it in the freezer overnight. The next day I used them to make meatballs. They were just as lovely as they were the day before. They did not stick together and they tasted amazing.
