There are two seasons: ice cream season and even more ice cream season.
Sure, we love ice cream when in the dead heat of the summer, but even when it’s chilly outside nothing beats icy cold ice cream melting down a piece of warm apple pie.
After searching high and low for a decent store-bought ice cream that wasn’t full of icky chemicals, I was excited to finally dig into some delicious, creamy goodness. I swear by chocolate everything and unfortunately was only able to find a good vanilla ice cream. Thankfully, I was able to find a quick and easy solution to my chocolate-less vanilla: a two ingredient chocolate magic shell.
My 2 year old helps me make it and it takes under a minute from start to finish. And that’s important, because when there’s ice cream waiting for you, you don’t want anything to slow you down.
