‘Tis the season for fresh greens either from your garden, local farmer, or store — lots and lots of greens. To be honest, I’ve never been a huge fan of greens because they always had a funny taste to me. Maybe it’s because I’m from California and my mom never made things like cornbread and greens.

However, now that I am in Florida and my husband is born and raised a Southern boy (er… man), I figured I should probably give it a whirl.

Let. Me. Tell. You. What.

For all the collard green haters out there… THIS recipe is going to blow your mind. BUH-LOOOWW.

It’s fairly quick, easy, and the flavors of the bacon really drown out that nasty inherent flavor that most greens have. Seriously, it’s so good I couldn’t stop eating it.

Mouth watering yet?
