It’s easy to feel like being a mom is not a job or not “good enough.”
For some reason, it’s also easy to feel ashamed to tell people you stay home with your child(ren) when they ask you what you do. It often seems unimportant, and just a part of life. You may have desires of changing the world and being a mother is far from that. Why is that?
Even if you can’t see it because you’re in the daily grind of life, the reality is that you get the opportunity to help mold your child into a thoughtful, earth-conscious being and that right there is the most important thing you can do for the world and for yourself.
It can be challenging to think this way though, and if you often feel like what you’re doing is not “enough,” you’re not alone.
