Pumpkin Gelatin Hair Mask Treatment

Ingredients
Instructions
  1. Mix the above ingredients in a medium sized bowl until well incorporated.
  2. **Please do a test strip of hair if you have or suspect any allergy to pumpkins or other squash.
  3. You can apply this hair mask treatment to either dry unwashed hair or damp hair. I often apply this hair mask when my hair has gone a few days between washings and apply it to my dry hair before shampooing.
  4. I suggest applying the hair treatment over the sink - it gets very messy! Flip your head upside down over the bathroom sink, apply about half of the mixture, working it into your hair as you go along.
  5. Carefully flip your head back up and run some more through the length of your hair.
  6. Pull your hair back loosely with a clip (you probably won’t need to do this if you have short hair).
  7. Apply the remainder of the hair mask, working it in and making sure you cover all your hair.
  8. When finished, cover your entire head with plastic, or a shower cap, for 15-20 minutes, then shampoo and condition your hair as usual. I use Dr. Bronner’s unscented castile soap as shampoo. Then style as usual.
